 Registration for all classes is confirmed by full payment, at which time participants will receive a supply list. Participants receive a 15% discount on all necessary tools and supplies associated with Jessamine courses. 


Learn to make the beautiful Tool Tote a Quilts Illustrated Pattern with Kellie Hall

57533691736__0395A1D6-8004-4EA8-858B-F198AFA5A47AThis is an intermediate sewing pattern. In this class you will learn how to install a zipper to create a delightful, personalized multipurpose bag. This class is a full Saturday and will require homework prior to class.

April 27th:  9-4:30.
Class price: $45 + $40 required class kit (includes pattern, interfacing, and metal stays). *Fabrics not included

Double Wedding Ring 

57540031113__81C43610-C404-4163-A05B-4D2F1DAB7D52.JPGDouble Wedding Ring, a classic pattern, is offered with a new technique for accomplishing the same traditional look, only amazingly faster! The instructor, Betty Tenon, started with this new process and is already half way across the top of a new, classic quilt. Carol Shuler and Betty Tenon will jointly instruct the course, which meets on a Sunday afternoon to catch those folk who are working all the other times. Our April Class is SOLD OUT. However a second class has been scheduled for July 6, 27, and August 3 with Betty Tenon. The class cost is $65+ materials.


Four Patch Swirl

This kaleidoscope type pattern, will be taught by Lynn Buske who has perfected this four piece version. The course is a full Saturday, from 9-3:00, on April 13. Lynn Buske, of “Carolina Pinwheel” fame will be teaching this, using her own unique method and pattern. Come see samples of her quilts displayed in our classroom. The class costs $45.

Come learn for two Saturday sessions and how to construct her award-winning quilt. See the sample she freshly hung in our classroom. It evokes a sigh of delight. Meeting on April 27 and May 11, from 10-4:00, the class costs $75.

 

 


Karen Baranich’s Beading Class

This class will complete a beaded bracelet in this first exploration of the world of beaded beauty. This experienced and multitalented quilter, knitter, and crafter will help you find your way in the world of beads and come home with a lovely bracelet to remember the trip. The class runs from 1-4pm. The cost is $45, inclusive of the kit you’ll need for the class.


Layer Cake (and How to Eat It All in One Session!) 

This class will be taught on May 4, 10-4 by Betty Tenon, who named it Layer Cake and More, but I could not resist my name. An expert quilter, Betty Tenon will help you begin to imagine the possibilities when you see a layer cake. No more wondering what to do with it and passing it by. The project will be the Pineapple Star quilt but you will imagine and discuss many possibilities for many cakes in your future, examining many patterns. The class is $45.
